Zadar is the second largest city on the Adriatic coast and the fifth largest city in Croatia. Located in the central part of the Adriatic coast, it is the center and largest city of Zadar County with over 75,000 inhabitants. Zadar is today one of the most visited tourist destinations on the Adriatic with many tourist attractions. From the historical sites we would mention the Cathedral of Sts. Stošija from 12th Century, which is also the largest church in Dalmatia. Zadar is also adorned with numerous churches, the most famous of which is the church of Sv. Donat from the 9th century, which is today a symbol of the city of Zadar and the most famous monumental building in Croatia.
